Photo on left features the City of Kamloops mayor and Tk’emlúps chief with their respective councils arriving from the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc lands to Riverside park by canoe. In centre are Chief Gottfriedson and Mayor Milobar after exiting the canoes. At right are City of Kamloops councillors Nancy Bepple and Arjun Singh in fur trader costume.

Above is a link to Sheila Webster’s photograph of the classic water skiing pyramid at a 1967 competition held in Riverside Park, Kamloops. It is contained within her and partner Keith’s We-Love-Kamloops blog, and is one of many photographs of various locales in and around this beauteous City.
On the subject of aquatic acrobatics, a pyramid formation is also featured in this undated Youtube clip uploaded by CreakyRowBoat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DwmOLcEgL0&feature=related

These colourful pastries immediately caught my hungry eye at the Can-Ital Ladies food pavilion in Riverside Park during Kamloops’ Canada Day festivities. It is a cake with a custard filling formed and tinted to look like a sugared peach. Delectable and quite reasonably priced at $2 each.
