However sporadically they may appear, here be the grocery list for this week.  Here is a photograph of Chinkiang brand black rice vinegar.  I have a bottle already in my cupboard, and use it in my noodle broth, tomato sauce, and have been known to add a dash or two to baked beans before, well, before baking them.  I would compare it most closely with balsamic vinegar.  A definite pantry staple! 

As for the soda from Mexico, my drawing is quite inaccurate.  Here is a link to learn more about the beverage I guzzled, known as Sidral Mundet, a cider-y beverage first bottled in 1900:
